Deepika Padukone & Ranbir Kapoor to reunite again & it has a Brahmastra & Alia Bhatt connection?

Ace director SS Rajomouli has joined Ayan Mukerji and Ranbir Kapoor to promote Brahmastra months before the release. If that wasn’t enough Karan Johar’s production house which is famous for innovative marketing strategies for all movies has got the biggest superstar of all time in Telugu cinema, Chiranjeevi, in Brahmāstra Part One Shiva for a very special role.

Now according to the latest reports, Deepika Padukone has been roped in for a cameo in the Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Amitabh Bachchan starrer. It has also been reported that her cameo is connected to Brahmastra 2.

Deepika Padukone is expected to have a smashing cameo in Brahmastra, according to a report she readily agreed given her fantastic relationship with both Karan Johar and Ayan Mukerji since Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. Furthermore, it was reported that not only will this be a screen reunion for Deepika and Ranbir, which is sure to excite fans, but it will also have a strong connection to Brahmastra 2, with Deepika’s cameo likely to occur near the end of the film or in a mid-credits scene a la Marvel movie.

When discussing Megastar Chiranjeevi’s role in Brahmastra. Although it has been learned that he will not be acting in the film, it has been confirmed that the actor will lend his voice to the Telugu version. So, who will he be dubbing for? It’s not clear, but given that Nagarjuna will most likely dub for his own lines in Telugu, and given that the film features no other top male actors besides Ranbir Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan, it’s safe to assume Chiru will be lending his voice to one of those stars.

Brahmastra Part One: Shiva, which also stars Mouni Roy, will be released on September 9th in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.
