‘Brahmastra’ advance bookings reflect positively on the box office collection

Brahmastra, starring Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor, has been made on a huge budget of around 400 crores. Filmmaker Ayan Mukherji promoted it as India’s first original universe, Astraverse. The much-awaited movie will finally hit the theatres on September 9. Since the movie involves big names from Bollywood, the expectations of performance are high. Its reservations started yesterday, and it estimates a positive trend in cinemas.

The Ayan Mukherji-directed film has managed to sell over 10,000 tickets in just one chain of theatres for its weekend. The other chains started their advanced booking process a bit late. According to the current trends, Brahmastra will become the highest pre-release booked film post the pandemic, joining the list of KGF2. The movie is ready to run with a positive opening. It will be interesting to see how much the movie will gross all across the country as it gets a solo release. Yes, like Raksha Bandhan and Laal Sing Chaddha, there is no clash for this one.

As we all know, the makers have planned to make Brahmastra, a three-part series. The first part revolves around Ranbir Kapoor, aka Shiva. He realizes that there is a strange link between him and Brahmastra, and an immense power resides within him: the power of fire. He takes time to understand his powers. This supernatural flick will be available in 5 languages: Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada.

Speaking about the film’s second and third parts, Ayan Mukherji previously said, “We will discuss filming the second and third parts after the first part releases. The whole trilogy will tell a single story, and we will add the new faces to bring a fresh perspective to the plot of the movie.”
