Actor Anupam Kher shares his encounter in New York with maestro Zakir Hussain

Anupam Kher is currently in the US. The actor recently wrapped the shoot for his upcoming film ‘Shiv Shastri Balboa’ there and is currently performing his show ‘Zindagi Ka Safar’ there. He is very active on his social media and now he has shared his encounter in New York with tabla maestro Zakir Hussain. 

Sharing a video with him, he wrote,”Encounters in NY: I was delighted to meet the maestro, the pride of our country Ustad #Zakir Hussain Saab in NY. I am his admirer for a long time. Such a humble man. It is pure magic when he plays table. Jai Ho to him!!”

In the video, he can be heard saying it is so rare in life one gets a chance to meet someone whom you admire and how happy he is to meet Zakir Hussain in New York. Even Zakir Hussain saab can be heard saying he is a big fan of Anupam Kher.

The actor keeps sharing glimpses and experiences of his life on his social media which is loved by his fans.

Anupam Kher will be seen in the film ‘Shiv Shastri Balboa’ which is directed by Ajayan Venugopalan and will have elements of humour and drama. It is the survival story of an Indian in a small town in America. Neena Gupta will also be seen in the film alongside him.

Besides this, he will also be soon seen in  the film ‘Happy Birthday’ which won him the best actor award in NYCIFF. He will also be seen in Vivek Agnihotri’s ‘The Kashmir Files’ which is based on the exodus of the Kashmiri Pandits in the 1990’s. He will also be seen in ‘The Last Show’ and ‘Mungilal Rocks’.
