Today, on the 26th of January, the country celebrates its 73rd Republic Day. Everything has been decked with tricolor, from markets to public spaces, and patriotic music can be heard on every street. It’s a proud day for Indians and a moment to honor the democratic nation we live in and the constitution that binds us as the proud citizens of the nation.
