Mission Mangal is being considered as one of the most featured films of 2019 that will be hitting the cinema screens on 15th August, the Independence Day, this year. Akshay Kumar has already kept on sharing a lot many deets about the film.
Mission Mangal’s poster is already revealed and has been stirring the audiences curiosity levels to the highest. Holding a perfect plot, the film has casted a number of terrific characters being played by the most powerful acting squad of Bollywood including Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, Taapsee Pannu, Sonakshi Sinha, Sharman Joshi and several others.
Although, taking about the plot of the film, it has been quite obvious that torch bearer of the Mission Mangal squad is in the hands of Akshay, there’s a lot more representing the historic team of India who led the mission claiming India to be the fourth country to successfully complete the Mars mission however, much hasn’t been revealed about the story line.
As per a suggested report out from a media source, it has been quoted that, “The premise is based on true events, but the team has taken some creative liberties for cinematic purposes. The mission was successful because of the teamwork, and every character has their moment of glory in the screenplay. It is the story of an underdog team standing tall against all odds.”
Talking about Akshay’s role in the film and other stars, the source added, “Akshay will essay the role of a scientist, his co-stars- Vidya Balan, Sonakshi Sinha and Taapsee Pannu, will play characters that head various aspects of the operation. Akshay’s character puts the team together and drives them to achieve the goals. It’s more of him being a mentor to the young team.”
Akshay Kumar has kept sharing a lot about his experiences working in Mission Mangal as mentioned in a recent Twitter post of his as well, “#MissionMangal, a film which I hope will inspire as well as entertain. A film which I’ve done specially for my daughter and children her age to familiarise them with the incredible true story of India’s mission to Mars!”
Mission Mangal is directed by the South filmmaker Jagan Shakti and will be jointly produced by Fox Star Studios and Cape Of Good Films in collaboration with R Balki. The movie is set to hit the screens on August 15, 2019 bearing a box office clash with John Abraham’s Batla House and Prabhas’ Saaho.
