Finally, SRK is doing Rajkumar Hirani’s next film in April 2020
Since the debacle of Zero, Shah Rukh Khan has not taken up any film. He was in films like Saare Jahaan Se Accha the biopic on Astronaut Rakesh Sharma. But he later opted out from the film since he did not want to experiment with new roles that can add misery to his film at the box office. Later Don 3 also did not work as it seems to have gone at the backburner. There were rumors about certain films but soon these turned out to be speculation giving nothing to the fans.
The fans have been waiting for long to hear which film would be his next after Zero and now we hear that he has liked three films that have been offered to him. He talked about the same on his birthday stating the film from the South India director Atlee’s next film, Ali Abbas Zafar’s next action saga and Rajkumar Hirani’s next directorial venture. However, as per the sources close to him, he seems to have decided to work with Hirani.
The 3 Idiots director seems to be having too many discussion with SRK these days which indicate that he is all set to come out with his film the next after his last film Zero. Earlier, Hirani wanted SRK to cast in films like Munna Bhai and 3 Idiots as well but the collaboration did not work for him. The sources close to him indicate that if things would go well, SRK is all set to be seen in Hirani’s movie, which is hitting the floor in April. On the other side, SRK has a couple of cameos in B Town and south Indian films as well. These include Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor starrer Brahmastra.
