Student of the Year 2 1st Day Weekend Collection
It was a decent start for the sequel of Karan Johar film called Student of The Year 2. It bagged 12.02 Crores on the first day and thus went as per the expectations of the makers. Then the second day went ahead the first day getting the collection of around 14.08 Crores getting the figure higher on the second day. As expected the Sunday collection instead of rising high went slightly low, thanks to the IPL final which has kept people glued to find out the winners of the tournament for 2019.
The collection on Sunday was lower than the two days making it end with 11 Crores at the box office. With this, the first-weekend box office collection for Student of The Year 2 tolled to around 37.10 Crores. Also, the sixth phase of Lok Sabha Elections also kept the people in NCR and other places intact restricting the collections to 11 Crores. Yet it can be called as a decent box office collection at the box office. Despite the mixed reviews, the film did decent business and is likely to do well claims the experts.
Now, looking at the weekdays collection, the film is likely to get 5 to 7 Crores on an average, which means the sequel can collect at the range of 60 to 70 Crores at the box office at the end of the first week. If things go smooth, the film should be able to enter into the 100 Crore club after the second weekend. Let’s see how things move but at the moment the makers have reasons to rejoice with a decent box office collection during the 1st-weekend collection.
