Raman Raghav 2.0 and Junooniyat 1st Weekend Box Office Report

With slew of small medium budget films releasing last Friday, one expected to witness a dull weekend at the Box Office having not much of the buzz of the same. In fact, the things simply went from bad to worse giving a weekend, which was not that disastrous as before as none of the film releasing last Friday failed to make a mark over the box office.  Let’s have a look at the plight of the passing weekend for the films releasing the same day.

Starting with Raman Raghav 2.0 was expected to see much better result, however, the film failed to garner much confining with a meager figure after the passage of the first weekend. As per reports, the first weekend report for Raman Raghav 2.0 tolled to around 4.0 crores. The dark drama film failed to get good reviews for the same forget about getting about witnessing the word of mouth for the movie.

On the other side, the film Junooniyat also witnessed a dull trend over the box office in the entire weekend. In fact, Sanam Re had a better performance to the current film of Yami Gautam and Pulkit Samrat. As per reports, the first weekend box office collection for Junnoniyat has brought forth a collection of around 2.0 crore.

Now, talking about the other films, the crime thriller – 7 Hours To Go failed to make its mark. As per reports, the first weekend box office report of 7 Hours To Go tolled to around 1.25 crores. The other two releases also had similar stories. These include the film A Scandal and Dil To Deewana Hai. As per reports, the first weekend box office collection for A Scandal tolled to around 1 crore, while the first weekend collection for Dil Toh Deewana Hai tolled to 1 cr only. On the other side, the Hollywood flick – Independence Day: Resurgence was a big hit tolling 17. 5 crores in its first weekend.
