Phantom 1st Week Box Office Report

Phantom -1st Week Box Office Report

For Saif Ali Khan, Phantom was a breather, which was able to reap a good collection at the end of its first week. At least comparing to all his previous movies like Happy Ending and Humshakals, the Kabir Khan film has done a decent business at the end of its first week. The film managed to get around 33 crore on the first weekend, while as per reports, the first week box office collection for Phantom tolled to around 47.5 crores, which is actually a decent amount. Hence with such a decent collection, he can easily take on to his next venture, which includes Rangoon again produced by the same man Sajid Nadiawala and directed by Vishal Bhardwaj.

Phantom was able to rise above Ajay Devgn starrer film Drishyam that was able to reap around 46.25 crores in its first week. Having said that, the Kabir Khan film seems better earning one crore more than Ajay Devgn starrer movie. Also, the other release the same Friday called Kaun Kitney Paani Mein staring Kunal Kapoor, Suarabh Shukla and Radhika Apte didn’t come in its way considering a niche cinema. In other words, Phantom had a decent start, which may be hampered in the coming week due to the release of Welcome Back.
