Deepika Padukone trolled by netizens for throwing the success party of Gehraiyaan!
Shakun Batra’s directorial film Gehraiyaan has become the talk of the town since its release. The film starred Deepika Padukone, Ananya Panday, Siddhant Chaturvedi, and Dhairya Karwa is all about Deepika’s character, Alisha, engaging in an act of infidelity with her cousin’s fiance (Siddhant Chaturvedi). The film is showing love, complex relationships, and guilt.
Recently, Deepika Padukone hosted a success party for the film Gehraiyaan. And the party images are gone viral on the Internet. Her co-stars, Ananya Panday and Siddhant Chaturvedi attended the bash and posed for the paparazzi. While Deepika looked gorgeous in a white corset and jeans, she completed her look with a perfect bun and heavy earrings. Ananya was dressed in a pink crop top and left her hair open. Siddhant was seen wearing a red shirt, black ripped jeans, and a black hat as he arrived on his luxurious motorcycle. Dhairya Karwa was not seen at the party.
One of the users commented, “Success for what?, another wrote, Success? Gajab zabardasti hai.” Another one added, “That is called Jabardasti flop film ko hit banana..”
Some praise the film while some are targeting stars for throwing the success party they did not like Adult Drama. ‘Gehraiyaan’ is based on complex modern relationships. Actors Naseeruddin Shah and Rajat Kapoor were seen in a pivotal role. The film is produced by Dharma Productions, Viacom18 Studios, and Jouska Films and was released on February 11 on Amazon Prime Video.
