Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan 7th day collection: The Salman Khan’s film looses steam in first week
Salman Khan’s ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’ hit a new low on the seventh day, earning barely roughly Rs. 3.50 crore according to trade experts. The seventh-day collections are quite low in comparison to the weekend totals of Rs 68.17 crores in the first three days. Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’s total first week collection now stands at Rs. 90.15 crore, thanks to Thursday’s revenue of Rs. 3.50 crore.
And, based on these figures, it appears that the film would struggle to break the Rs. 100 crore nett India mark in its second weekend. Most Salman films have surpassed Rs 100 crores on the first weekend or at least in the first week in the recent decade or so and Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan will be the actor’s rare picture that fails to do so in its first week.
Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan got a strong start at the box office over the weekend thanks to the Eid festivities, earning Rs. 68.17 crore in its debut weekend, but it has been gradually declining after the effect of Eid festivities wore off. In the last four days, the Salman Khan’s film has only managed to add Rs 22 crores at the domestic box office, which is a pretty low number considering the film’s opening.
Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, directed by Farhad Samji and produced by Salman Khan Films, stars Salman Khan alongside Pooja Hegde, Venkatesh, Shehnaaz Gill, Raghav Juyal, Jagapathi Babu, Bhumika Chawla, Vijender Singh, Abhimanyu Singh, and Siddharth Nigam.
Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan is a remake of the Tamil film Veeram (2014), which starred Ajith. The plot centres around Bhaijaan, an honest man who lives peacefully with his siblings and has no qualms about resorting to violence to settle any disagreements. However, for the sake of his girlfriend, he decides to change his ways. When Bhaijaan discovers that his girlfriend’s family is in danger due to their previous foe, he sets out to protect them.
