Janhit Mein Jaari Review: Nushrratt Bharuccha starrer doesn’t shy away & takes on a courageous subject

Janhit Mein Jaari Review

Story:

Manokamna Tripathi (Nushrratt Bharuccha) is a Madhya Pradesh-based sales representative for a local condom maker. She has a ticking time bomb in her head: she must either find work or agree to a marital proposal that her parents have arranged for her. Manokamna takes the first job she can get in order to avoid the rishtas, which is as a sales executive for a condom company called Little Umbrella. It irritates her at first. She, on the other hand, devotes herself to her new job. By the end of the video, it has become more than just a commercial for condoms; it has also addressed serious subjects such as abortion, contraception, safe sex, patriarchy, and more.

Janhit Mein Jaari

Review:

Janhit Mein Jaari sticks to the script without deviating from it. When director Jai Basantu Singh chose a topic like condom use in a country where sex and birth control are still taboo topics in most households, he realized he was taking a risk. He, on the other hand, went all in. Throughout the plot, the film properly emphasized that men’s timidity is the main issue. It is a true reflection of Indian reality.

The film is hoisted on Nushrratt Bharuccha’s shoulders. To say the least, her performance in Janhit Mein Jaari is impressive. The actress is amazing for the job, from her reactions to her transformation into a lower-middle-class girl. Anud Singh Dhaka is the ideal spouse. Brijendra Kala is excellent, despite his limited screen time. Vijay Raaz is the patriarchal voice.’ Devi, Manokamna’s best friend, played by Paritosh Pati Tripathi is the USP of the film.

Janhit Mein Jaari, on the other hand, is not without flaws. Only Nushratt’s character evolves throughout time, whereas the rest of the cast revolves around her.

Verdict:

Overall, Janhit Mein Jaari is a humorous film with a well-placed message. It is a film released in the public interest, as its title suggests.
