Sonam Kapoor won much acclaim for her actor in 2016 release ‘Neerja’, the film was a biopic on Neerja Bhanot, a courageous air hostess who sacrificed her life while protecting others. Remembering the brave-heart on her birth anniversary, Sonam posted on Instagram, “Celebrating Neerja’s courage, charm and outlandish love for life – on her birth anniversary. Playing her was a life-altering experience for me, and I couldn’t have been more thrilled to have honoured her legacy in my own way. Everytime I talk about Neerja, I just go on and on, and rightfully so – for her story till date, continues to inspire millions around the world!”
After spending the better part of lockdown in India, Sonam and Anand Ahuja travelled to London. She recently stepped out to watch Christopher Nolan’s ‘Tenet’ and was all praise for Dimple Kapadia. “So I went to watch @tenetfilm in the cinema today. Firstly the incredible experience of watching a film on the big screen is unparalleled. Secondly to watch the luminous Dimple Kapadia in the film gave me goosebumps. Nothing compares to cinema, the big screen and its magic. Nothing,” Sonam had shared.
On the work front, Sonam will soon be teaming up with Sujoy Ghosh for her next project. The film is reportedly titled as ‘Blind’.
