Subuhi Joshi is a DJ and actress from Delhi. She was born in national capital on 29th October 1992 and raised in Mumbai by her mom Meenu Joshi who also happens to be an actress and did loads of shows at Doordarshan. She did her schooling & college from her hometown and later went on to do her English Honors from Delhi University. Though she was good in studies but very much passionate about music and dance and started working as a DJ soon after completing her education. She is more known from her nickname called Essjay.
Also, she tried her luck in modeling and got loads of opportunity to be seen in a number of commercial ads both in TV and print media. She has been the part of many brands in the modeling world walking number of ramps as well. Soon she was seen in a music video with Cricketer Harbhajan Singh called Woofer With Harshit Tomar. She soon embarked with her own online biweekly show called Awesome Twosome with her Spiltsvilla season 6 fellow contestants called Shatakshi Joshi that was meant to connect with youth and help them out in sorting out things in different fronts.
She stared working as a child actor when she was barely 3 years of age in a show called Nimantran aired at Doordarshan. However, soon she returned to her school to complete her studies before taking up any projects. After completing her education, she was seen doing a realty show called Big Switch on the UTV Bindas in the year 2010 and later went on to appear on reality shows like Spiltsvilla in the sixth season. She then was seen other TV serials like Bh Se Bhade on Zee, Warrior High on MTV along with a slew of other TV serials seen in a number of TV channels.
These include Love Dosti Dua on Big Magic, Comedy Classes on Life OK, Pyaar Tune KyaKiya on Zing, MTV Gumrah: End of Innocence, Emotional Atyachan, Spitlsvilla: Season 8 and Confessions of an Indian Teenager. As far as her personal life is concerned, she is not married and not dating anyone. She wants to focus on her career though she is going great guns on her career ladder.
