Bhoomi, Haseena Parkar & Newton 1st week box office collection
Last Friday was a busy one with too many films releasing, which include Bhoomi, Haseena Parkar and Newton. Now, let’s check the way these films have performed over the box office. Talking about the comeback movie of Sanjay Dutt called Bhoomi, it failed to deliver as was expected by the makers of the film. The film showcasing the father and daughter relationship with Sanjay and Aditi Rao Hydari doing wonders with their performances, the film seemed to have gone down. Omung Kumar who has been the director of the film Mary Kom and Sharabit had to see another downfall with the film Bhoomi.
As per reports, the 1st week box office collection for Bhoomi tolled to around 10 crores, which is actually a low figure in many ways. Unfortunately, the Sanjay Dutt film though was getting a good review but if you believe the experts, the collection will go down further in the coming few days for the obvious reasons. Now let’s talk about the other film, Haseena Parkar starring Sharddha Kapoor. It is worse than Sanjay Dutt starrer movie in terms of collection. As per reports, the 1st week box office collection for Haseena Parkar tolled to around 6.45 crores.
Now, let’s talk about the other film starring Rajkummar Rao called Newton, the film though did had minimal amount of buzz in the media, yet it managed to score more than the two films. Yes you heard it right. The first week collection for Newton has tolled to around 11.54 crores. Thanks to the buzz that surrounds the film due to being nominated to the Oscars. Well, with Judwaa 2 releasing in this Friday the film has proved as a big damager for these films. Also, if you look at the current opening of Judwaa 2, the other three movies will be nothing but going to fall flat on the ground except Newton, which seems to have hope now.
