Diljott is a film actress working who is known for her dedication and passion for Cinema. She was born in a reputed Punjabi family of doctors. She was born on 20th December 1993 in Punjab. She has done her schooling from DPS, Chandigarh followed by doing her college doing her graduation in arts wherein she topped the university thereby getting her Gold Medal for this achievement. She has remained all rounder and excelled in extracurricular activities all her student life including remaining very active in sports and happens to be a health freak. She then did her Masters in Human Rights and Duties from Punjab University, Chandigarh. After completing her education she thought of pursuing her career in cinema, which led her to Mumbai the ultimate destination for such souls. She also learnt dance and music, which helped her pursue her career in acting.
Diljott got the chance to be clicked by ace photographer, Dabboo Ratanani for being the lady of beauty with brains. She then was featured in a couple of commercial ads for brands like Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited and other garment brands and on cover pages for several national magazines. Soon she was featured in a hit Punjabi song called ‘Patiala Peg’ opposite Punjabi superstar known as Diljit Dosanjh, that turned out to be a super hit track worldwide and the performance of Diljott got noticed and thus appreciated a lot. She then did a film called ‘Idiot Boys’ in 2014 as a lead actress in it, which got critical acclaim. She then got featured in a Punjabi folk song called ‘Sohni- The Real Punjaban’ and her Punjabi avatar got a good round of applauds.
Diljott’s three upcoming films being a lead actress include ‘Teshan’ released in 2016 followed by others like ‘Punjabi By Nature’ and ‘Yaar Annmulle. Teshan got a very good response and applauds far and wide, while ‘Yaar Annmulle 2’ is all set to hit the theaters in 2017 and so is the case with other film ‘Punjabi By Nature’. She is lucky to get a Hollywood film as well in her initial days of her career called 5 Weddings, which will hit the same years in 2017. Besides, she is also involved in charity work apart from working as a philanthropist and a social worker with an NGO and contributes her bit towards the betterment of the society.
