Arjun Rampal makes his Telugu debut with Nandamuri Balakrishna’s ‘NBK108’

Many Bollywood actors are making their Tollywood debut this year, indicating that they are ready to be part of Telugu films. Following in the footsteps of Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, and Janhvi Kapoor, another Bollywood star is set to make his Tollywood debut. Arjun Rampal is set to make his Telugu debut with Tollywood superstar Nandamuri Balakrishna’s upcoming untitled film ‘NBK108.

Arjun is set to play the major antagonist in the film. Makers welcomed Arjun to the project with a new video.  Arjun is heard repeating a popular Balakrishna dialogue in the video. The video features an interview between the actor and NBK108 director Anil Ravipudi. He has joined the filming crew in the ongoing schedule of Hyderabad.

Arjun also took to his Instagram handle and posted the announcement video. The caption to Arjun Rampal’s post read, “Making my South Debut with team NBK108. Feel super nervous and excited. I promise you all this is going to be one mad ride with lots of fun. Thank you for having me. Team #NBK108 welcomes the talented National Award winning actor @rampal72 on board as the antagonist (sic).”

NBK108 is produced by Sahu Garapati and Harish Peddi under Shine Screens banner. The film’s music has been composed by S Thaman and C Ram Prasad has handled the cinematography.

Balakrishna, who is also a politician, is recognised as one of the top stars of Telugu film industry. His most recent film, Veera Simha Reddy, was a tremendous box office success, grossing more than Rs.130 crore.

Meanwhile, Kajal Aggarwal and Sreeleela will also play significant parts in NBK108. According to speculations, NBK108 would be released on the big screen on Vijaydasami (Dussehra).

Arjun Rampal’s upcoming films include The Battle of Bhima Koregaon, Crakk, and Nastik.
