Fund Raising Campaign – I For India raises 52 Crores
Just when we saw Aamir Khan and his wife Kiran Rao singing a song for the fund raising campaign called I For India, we saw many more B Town actors coming ahead in the ‘I For India’ virtual concert to raise money. In just less than 24 hours the virtual concert was able to collect not less than 52 Crores for the COVID-19 relief activities. With this it has become the first biggest live fundraiser event organised on Facebook.
Karan Johar was quick to announce about the same on his Twitter handle that the virtual. You can check his tweet announcing that it has collected a whopping 52 Crores in less than a day. Check his tweet:Â

The virtual fundraising campaign was organised by Karan Johar and Zoya Aktar, which has featured around 85 stars all across the world. And from India it had stars like Aamir, Kiran Rao, SRK, Alia Bhatt, Anushka Sharma, AR Rahman, Priyanka CHopra Jonas and Arjit Kapoor to name a few. While the global stars who joined the virtual concert included Bryan Adams, Jonas Brothers and many more. They helped to collect a huge amount of money for the crisis. The campaign was run in association with GiveIndia platform which is a known fund raising platform.Â
