Last Friday was the day of too many options in film, thanks to the number of releases hitting the theatres which included Dirty Politics. The movie had Mallika Sherawat in the lead role along with a number of veterans like Om Puri, Naseeruddin Shah and Anupam Kher. Though the performances of the actor was good, yet the movie failed to garner positive review from the critics. Similar story went on the box office, which turned out to be dull for the said film.
In fact, it was called out as a disaster by a number of trade pundits and experts. As per reports, Dirty Politics was able to collect around 1.83 crores in its first weekend. Hence Dirty Politics 1st weekend box office collection wasn’t that great. Thanks to the poor story and unprofessional performance by the lady in the lead role. The movie is likely to have the same trend in the coming times.
