Alia Bhatt clears air of being upset with RRR makers over her small role

SS Rajamouli’s RRR, starring Ram Charan, Jr NTR, Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn, is finally out and it is creating a huge buzz at the box office. However, recently there were reports that Alia Bhatt, who had an extended cameo in the film, was unhappy with the director. The rumors and speculation started after Alia allegedly deleted a lot of promotional postings for the film from her Instagram feed. On Thursday, the actor resorted to social media to respond to the rumours in a lengthy post.

Fans have noticed that Alia has either removed or archived numerous of the videos and posts she posted on her Instagram profile in the days leading up to RRR’s release. Many suspected that her involvement in the film was trimmed short because the actor was dissatisfied with SS Rajamouli. There was, however, no confirmation of this.

Taking to her Instagram story Alia Bhatt in a lengthy note wrote, “In today’s randomness I’ve heard that I apparently deleted my RRR post because I’m upset with the team. I sincerely request everyone not to make assumptions based on something as random as an Instagram grid.”

Alia Bhatt continued, “I ALWAYS realign old video posts from my profile grid because I prefer it to look less cluttered. I am eternally grateful that I got to be a part of the world of RRR. I loved playing Sita. I loved being directed by Rajamouli Sir. I loved working with Tarak (Jr NTR) and Charan- I loved every single thing about my experience on this film.”

Talking about why she took to her story to share the clarification, the Highway actress wrote, “The only reason I’m bothering to clarify this is because Rajamouli Sir and the team have put in years of effort and energy to bring this beautiful film to life and I refuse to let my misinformation around the film and experience slide,” she concluded.

For the unversed, it was recently reported that Alia was dissatisfied with her little appearance in the Ram Charan, Jr NTR film and had supposedly removed a few posts pertaining to drama. Alia has now taken to social media to offer a lengthy letter about her alleged deletion of her posts.

The epic historical action thriller, directed by SS Rajamouli, is a fictional story about two Indian rebels, Alluri Sitarama Raju (Ram Charan) and Komaram Bheem (Jr NTR), who battled against the British Raj and the Nizam of Hyderabad, respectively. Along with Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn, Shriya Saran, Samuthirakani, Ray Stevenson, Alison Doody, and Olivia Morris played key roles in RRR.
