Sanju Trailer
Source: Koi Moi
There is no doubt to the fact that the film Sanju happens to be the most awaited movies in B Town. The film, which happens to be the a biopic made on the life of Sanjay Dutt had got its trailer released in the media and with its release the buzz for the movie has propelled and intensified. It was among the most reported films in the media with too many things said and done about it. The movie is likely to get the benefit from the buzz it has been creating all these days. As the film releases on 29th June this year, it is likely to do a better business. However, much would depend upon the Race 3 film as well, which will be releasing on 15th June on the eve of Eid starring Salman Khan. If the buzz for the movie will continue it may hamper the buzz for Sanju as well.
But many experts and trade pundits feel that Sanju is not likely to be hampered with Race 3 since it will already complete two weeks of its release and the dust would settle down for the Salman Khan starrer giving every opportunity to the biopic to perform. We know that Sanjay Dutt’s life has been very much controversial. Right from his drug addiction to going behind the bars to his love life and ladies in his life, many things seemed to be covered in the film, which will attract any Bollywood film goer. Hence one can expect the film to perform better over the box office.
As per reports and the current buzz, the film is likely to score 8 to 10 crore on the first day, while the first weekend collection would not be less than 30 crore. It will also enter into the 100 crore club perhaps by the end of the second weekend, while the lifetime collection for Sanju would be not less than 150 to 170 crore, which is certainly a decent amount of collection. If the makers have plans to release the film overseas one can expect it collecting more than 200 crore as the overall figure.
