Plot

Meet Koroli Nair who happens to be the sole child of a business tycoon based in the UK. She settles in Delhi as she is keen to make her ‘pursuit of happiness’. She goes against her father’s disappointment and has no interest in joining her father. Instead she teaches English at New Delhi at the British Council which makes her feel happy and content in her own way. Meet another boy Sumit Uppal who happens to be a typical Lajpat Nagar guy keen to make his career in Bollywood. He is engaged as a star trainer at a local gym and has worked for his aesthetics and physique. He has big dreams for his film career, which also makes him join the Language School that ends up meeting the lady teacher. Soon they start meeting in discs and night clubs and soon get attracted to each other. Soon we see the roller coaster love story as one of Sumit’s friend is against his love. So, what happens at the end is interesting to catch.

Review

The script has nothing new to deliver, we have similar situations early in the B Town films with rebel kid trying to make her own life without seeking her father’s money. And then falls in love with a guy with an opposite attitude and attribute. So, in terms of innovation and uniqueness, the film has less to deliver. However, the story has something interesting to deliver be it cool locations, new style of love and the roller coaster things and many more similar sort of activities, which make things really interesting. However, one of the most interesting thing to check is the lead actors’ performances particularly Tapsee Pannu, she has been phenomenal in her work and so was Saqeeb in his role of a lead actor. The others too remained okay in their roles. Talking about the other elements like Screenplay, music, direction and technical things, they seemed okay and have contributed to the entertainment value to some extent.

Dil Juunglee – The Last Word

The film can be a onetime watch all thanks to the similar stories that keep on coming in the B Town. However, if you happen to be Tapsee Pannu’s fan you can think of catching it as it becomes mandatory for you otherwise it has nothing much to deliver.
