Today is the veteran actress Tanuja Mukherjee’s birthday. She was one of the most well-known actors of her time. Although Tanuja is most known as the mother of Kajol, an actress, she has also put up some incredible performances on the big screen throughout her career.
Shobhana Samarth, Tanuja’s mother, was also an actress, and Kumarsen Samarth, her father, was a producer. The actress has two daughters, Kajol and Tanishaa, from her marriage to the director Shomu Mukherjee.Â
