Shilpa Shetty-Raj Kundra house raid: Actress tells Crime Branch that the movies on app are ‘not porn but erotica’, more details here!

On Friday evening, after searching Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra’s Juhu home for almost 6 hours, Crime Branch officials investigating the businessman’s case departed the scene with the actress’ recorded testimony. Shilpa reportedly denied being engaged in the making of pornographic videos during her questioning, according to a story in Mid-Day, which quoted a police officer.

As per the Mid-Day report, a police official said, “She (Shilpa Shetty) said that the movies available on Hotshot are not pornography but erotica. She also said that nowadays, similar content is available on the various OTT platforms and in fact, some are more obscene than what is available on Hotshot.”

According to reports, the entrepreneur and his wife Shilpa both denied being engaged in the production of such videos. According to the article, Raj Kundra informed the cops that everything was managed by his brother-in-law Pradeep Bakshi in London, and that they only spoke over WhatsApp. According to the story, the cops are not relying on the businessman’s word.

An official told the daily, “We have enough evidence that he (Raj Kundra) was dealing with everything, his brother-in-law was made the owner of the London-based company just for namesake.”

According to reports, the Crime Branch investigators looking into Raj Kundra’s case have not found Shilpa to be directly linked to those who shot the purported adult films under the guise of offering them an opportunity to work on major OTT platforms. According to the daily, Shilpa was interrogated for hours over her decision to leave Viaan Industries in 2020. According to the article, the actress may have done this out of fear of legal repercussions as a result of the connection between Kenrin Limited, Hotshot, and Viaan Industries. The cops are said to have discovered transactions between Kenrin and Viaan Industries.

After his detention was prolonged by the Court until July 27, Raj Kundra was transported to his and Shilpa’s Juhu home late Friday night. Raj Kundra and his counsel went to the High Court when the imprisonment was prolonged. Raj Kundra’s arrest in the case is reportedly ‘illegal,’ according to his lawyer. Raj’s bail application was reportedly dismissed by the court on Friday.
