The Salman Khan’s Tiger 3 Sets the Box Office on Fire, Sells Over 1.43 Lakh Tickets Within 48 Hours

The Tiger 3 storm is coming, and the early signs at the box office are promising. Marking the much-awaited return of Salman Khan as Avinash Singh Rathore, aka Tiger, and Katrina Kaif as Zoya, this time the film brings in a new intriguing villain in the form of Emraan Hashmi. The hype is building, and here is the day 1 advance booking report you need to know:

Directed by Maneesh Sharma, Tiger 3 is set for an unusual release on Sunday, traditionally a low-turnout day during Diwali. However, the upcoming biggie is unaffected, with pre-sales in full swing. We are poised to see one of the biggest openings in Bollywood history, if not the biggest.

Tiger 3 advance booking officially began on November 5th, but tickets started selling like hotcakes a day earlier at select theaters. It’s been 48 hours since pre-sales went live in India, and the response has been phenomenal, to say the least. It could be described as Salman Khan’s best-performing film in terms of pre-sales.

As of 7 a.m. today, Tiger 3 has grossed 4.35 crores through advance booking (excluding blocked seats) for Day 1. This represents the sale of over 1.43 lakh tickets across the country, which is huge considering there are still 6 days to go for the film’s release. The response is only expected to grow stronger with each passing day, leading to a staggering opening.

This Salman Khan-led spy thriller is an event film that has generated tremendous demand in both multiplexes and single screens, similar to Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan. The Tiger 3 franchise’s track record and Spy Universe appeal have made it a hot property, while cameos from Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan have elevated the hype to new heights. These factors have contributed to a phenomenal advance booking response, and we can expect a box office explosion in the next few days.
