Shagufta Ali was in dire need of money since a long time, speaks about finally getting work!

Shagufta Ali, a well-known TV and Bollywood actress, has come forward to plead for help from anyone who can, as she is in desperate need of money and work. In an exclusive interview with SpotboyE.com in July, she stated that she requires funds for her and her mother’s medical treatment, as well as to repay the debt she has incurred as a result of her inability to work for the past four years.

And now, at long last, the actress has a job. The legendary actress recently shot a film in Dehradun, however it was a low-budget film titled Sumeru, for which Shagufta was appreciative.

Talking to SpotboyE, Shagfuta Ali said,
“Yes, I had gone to Dehradun, it was a two day shoot but my character in the film is important. This has definitely given me some hope and I am wishing that I start getting more work now. Finally, my prayers are being answered.”

The film’s posters, which feature actor Avinash Dhyani and actress Sanskriti Bhatt in an amorous stance with the phrase “Re Chhore Yo Pyaar Hai Thari Samajh Ke Bahar Hai,” were launched yesterday. Avinash Dhyani, the principal actor, wrote and directed the film, which is being produced under the brand of Padma Siddhi Films.

Talking about going through a financial crisis, Shagufta Ali told the portal, “I keep getting audition calls and I do give them because if I don’t do that, they will not give me work. Unfortunately, that is also not happening anymore as nowadays auditions are happening on video and that is not possible for me because I don’t have anyone to record at home as I have a rod in my hand and if I operate a phone then I can’t perform. And mummy has arthritis so she can’t take my video. I tell them to come home and do it. Only once they came to the house and did my audition but nothing worked out there also. The time is such that acche projects aakar na ho rahe and kai projects to mujhe reason hi nahi samajh aa raha ki kyu mana ho rahe hain.”
