Kangana Ranaut slams people who stopped PM Narendra Modi in Punjab, calls it ‘attack on democracy’

Protesters in Punjab stopped Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s convoy forcing him to return. The incident has now become a topic of national debate and a major security goof-up. Kangana Ranaut who is known for putting her unapologetic opinion on almost every topic took to her Instagram handle to express her side. She slammed the unfortunate incident, calling it ‘shameful’ and ‘attack on democracy.

She wrote, ‘What happened in Punjab is shameful, Honourable Prime Minister is democratically elected leader/ representative/ voice of 1.4 billion people, an attack on him is an attack on every single Indian… it is an attack on our democracy itself, Punjab is becoming a hub for terroristic activities if we don’t stop them now, nation will have to pay a big price #bharatstandswithmodiji’

Meanwhile, Kangana is putting her efforts into her production house’s new project, ‘Tiku Weds Sheru.’ Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Avneet Kaur also play key roles in the film. Aside from that, Kangana will next be seen in the film ‘Dhaakad,’ in which she will portray an agent called Agni. Arjun Rampal and Divya Dutta play pivotal parts in the film. In addition, the actress has a role in ‘Tejas,’ in which she will portray an Air Force pilot.

Kangana Ranaut has also been cast in the film ‘Sita: The Incarnation,’ in which she will play Sita.
