Amidst the huge buzz of the Hollywood biggie film- Avengers Endgame, the B Town film called Blank released on this Friday had a meager performance at the box office. The Hollywood film happens to be the Marvel Studio’s presentation and it is still holding all its show with a good occupancy report even in the second weekend. Now, talking about the film Blank, it seemed to have opened up on a low note this Friday, thanks to the mixed reviews the film has gained by most of the critics along with the audience.
On the first day, Blank managed to get 0.90 Crores at the box office, however, Saturday did witness some amount of jump at the box office getting the collection at 1.17 Crores. Similarly, there was some amount of hike on Sunday giving the film a decent collection at the box office with 1.36 Crores. This makes the collection low during the first three days of its release. The first-weekend box office collection for Blank reached to around 3.50 Crores at the box office.
The film had a limited number of screens that reached to around 1225. The occupancy reports have been low both at the single screens and the multiplexes. Besides, this film, we had a few more movies releasing on the same day including Settlers and Dil Diya Gallen, which gave options to the audience to choose. Thus with stiff competition, the film failed to do the kind of business that was expected from the film.
