Prashant Narayanan to play the antagonist in PM Narendra Modi biopic.

New characters are included in the cast of Biopic PM Modi which will give a visual narration of the PM Modi life. Soon after the release of former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh’s biopic titled The Accidental Prime Minister starring Anupam Kher and Akshaye Khanna, a biopic on PM Narendra Modi started making headlines. The makers of the film released the poster of the biopic around Republic Day, and actor Vivek Oberoi will be essaying the role of the current PM. While the makers roped in actors including Darshan Kumaar, Boman Irani and Zarina Wahab, a new name cropped up recently who will be playing the role of the antagonist in the biopic.

In the addition of the cast has been included Prashant Narayanan, who was seen in Mahesh Bhatt’s Murder 2, has been cast to essay the role of the antagonist in the PM’s biopic. Confirming the same, a source close to the film was quoted as saying, “Prashant will be the antagonist. His role is a fictional character of the biggest business tycoon of the country called Aditya Reddy. He has started shooting for the film in Ahmedabad.”

Expressing how happy the actor is to be a part of the project,  Prashant was quoted saying, “I am grateful to Mukesh Chabbra and Sandip Singh for giving me this role and believing in me. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity, I am excited. This set is like a big family to me.”

Meanwhile, the film will be extensively shot in Gujrat and across various locations across the country. Directed by Omung Kumar the biopic is expected to release next year.
