The eccentric filmmaker SS Rajamouli has grooved on the popular song Naatu Naatu, which he developed once again with his recently released film RRR. As he promised Jr NTR, the director performed the hook step of the Naatu Naatu song during RRR’s triumph party, which took place yesterday. Ram Charan, Upasana Jr NTR, his wife Pranathi, and many more attended the success meet sponsored by producers Dil Raju and Shirish.
During one of the promotion interviews, SS Rajamouli promised Jr NTR that he would execute the hook step of Naatu Naatu at the success meet because the director made him and Ram Charan shoot nearly 50 retakes to acquire the proper sync of the cheerful step.
Ram Charan, who played Alluri Sitaram Raju in the film, is said to have given all of his ‘RRR’ unit members and other aides 10 grams of gold currency. The RRR sign is stamped on one side, and Ramcharan’s name is engraved on the other.
Since the debut of SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus at the box office, the film has been raking in cash like no other. In just nine days, it has collected over Rs 850 crores, or about Rs 100 crores per day.
RRR is a fictional story based on Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem, two great independence fighters. Samuthirakani, Alison Doody, Ray Stevenson, Olivia Morris, and Shriya Saran portrayed supporting roles alongside Ram Charan, Jr NTR, Ajay Devgn, and Alia Bhatt in the key roles.
