Daisy Bopanna is an actor active in the South Indian film industry. She was born on 4th December 1980. She was born and brought up in Kodagu, Karnataka, India. She did her schooling at Aurobindo School, later completed PUC from Kumaran’s College, and later graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Chitrakala Parishat in Bangalore. Once she completed her studies, she headed to be an actress and started working for a theatre group called B. Jayasri’s Spandana theatre camp for a while apart from working with contemporary English theatre with Preetam Koilpillai.
Since then it was no looking back for the actress. She soon got the chance to work in a Tamil movie called Indru Mudhal in 2003 followed by Bimba in 2005. Since then it was not looking back for the actress she got a number of Telugu, Kannada, and Tamil movies. These include Bhagawan, Chanti, Relax, Garam Masala, Rama Shama Bhama, Jackpot, Prajapathi, Aishwarya, Thavarina Siri, Sathyavan Savithri, Gaalipata, Chakkara Viyugam, Sweet Heart, and Olave Jeevana Lekkachaara to name a few.
Some of the recent movies include Khuda Kasam, United Six, Crazy Loka, K.G.F: Chapter 2, and talking about her debut in Bollywood, she was seen in Pati Patni Aur Woh as Chintu’s (Kartik Aaryan) as boss. Talking about her personal life, she is married to Amit Jaju in the year 2011. Besides being an actor she is also a model and has appeared in a number of commercial ads for different brands.
