Rashami Desai was heartbroken after she heard of Sidharth Shukla’s demise, says, ‘Sidharth was special’

Actor Siddharth Shukla left us for a heavenly abode on 2nd September. Since then the family, friends, and the fans of the actor are devastated. As most of us are aware that Siddhartjh shared a lovely relationship with Rashami Desai. The duo has worked together in a show Dil Se Dil Tak. And were very close back then. Now Rashami Desai has opened up about how devastated she was when she heard the news.

Rashami Desai told TOI, “I have experienced a lot of hard times in my life but I have never compromised my professional commitment. But this time I was seriously left broken. Sidharth was special, no doubt we fought, we had our issues but at the end of the day there was a good friendship and we cared for each other. I can say much but this time I couldn’t keep going.”

The actress even decided to take some time off and refrain from promoting her song. She continued, “I planned to not be part of any promotional activities for the song. I am lucky that our producer Shahzeb Azad understood my situation and allowed me to grieve.”

After Siddharth’s demise, Rashami posted a heartfelt tribute to him and even visited his family at Siddharth’s place. The late actor suffered a heart attack. And the final post mortem reports are yet to come from medical officials and the cause of death is currently written as ‘accidental’ on official papers.
