Amazon Prime Video’s Mirzapur 2 and Dilli To Release In August
With the current lockdown, the digital platforms have too many things to showcase for its digital audience. The OTT platform like Amazon Prime Video is all set to release 14 shows this year, which have been lined to release this year since January. The streaming giant has two web series to showcase, Dilli and Mirzapur 2. As per reports, Amazon Prime Video would be releasing the most awaited series in August.Â
Talking about the show, the Saif Ali Khan starrer series Dilli has been making headlines for various reasons even before it has been released. As per reports, the makers also have planned to embark with the second season of the show as well, which if things go smooth would hit the floor in October 2020. Talking about Mirzapur 2, it has remained the most awaited one for the digital audience considering the huge success of the first installment as directed by Sultan Director – Ali Abbas Zafar. Â
Both the shows have Saif Ali Khan in the lead role and he did his debut with the series The Sacred Games with Nawazuddin Siddiqui. Talking about the Mirzapur 2, it is under post production phase and it is going smoothly. Thus the makers are now eyeing to release the series in August. Mirazapur stars actors like Pankaj Tripathi, Vikrant Massey, Ali Fazal, Shriya Pilgaonkar, Shweta Tripathi, and Rasika Duggal in the leading roles.
