Big News! Zee5 and Netflix acquire the streaming right of SS Rajamouli’s RRR

The much-awaited pan India film, RRR has become the talk of the nation since the announcement of the film. Now the recent update states that filmmaker SS Rajamouli’s film is going going to scream on two different OTT platforms. The rights of the film have been bought by Netflix and ZEE5. On Wednesday the producers of the film’s Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada versions will be made available on ZEE5. However, Netflix will have the rights for Hindi, Portuguese, Korean, Turkish and Spanish versions of RRR.

As per the information, Zee Network holds the satellite rights of the Hindi version of RRR, while the Star India network will have the television rights of the film’s Telugu Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada versions. If we go by the reports then the Zee group has paid Rs 300 crore. To acquire the rights of RRR.

The film is presented in its post-production stage. Now the makers are waiting for the situation to get normal to release in on the big screen. The film has an amazing cast including Jr NTR, Ram Charan, Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn. Fans are super excited for this one to release soon. The best part about RRR will be to watch the action sequences that will take place between NTR and Ram. RRR is a direction by the mastermind, SS Rajamouli, who was behind the record-breaking Baahubali series.

RRR is produced by DVV Danayya and is set to release in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, Kannada, and several other Indian languages. The film is expected to hit the screens on October 13 however, everything depends on the situation of the COVID-19 pandemic.
