Street Dancer gets U/A certificate, CBFC ask to mute cuss words

As we see the film Street Dancer all set to release this coming Friday, we can expect yet another bagging film for 2020 after the super successful hit film Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior. The Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor starrer film Street Dancer 3D has garnered a good buzz in the media. Like Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior, it is expected to do well at the box office. Thanks to the dance action we see in it.

As per the latest, the Central Board of Film Certification or CBFC has asked for no major cut in the film and has given U/A Certificate after the examining committee went through the film. The only change it asked the makers was to blur the liquor brand’s logo on alcohol bottles along with putting the mute button on the cuss word used in it. They have asked the makers to add the anti-alcohol disclaimer and that to be placed in Hindi.

The film is expected to be a clean entertainer and can be called as a family film as well. It is expected to draw a huge crowd particularly the younger generation who would be expected to join in big numbers. The film Street Dancer 3D has Remo D’Souza as its director, while it is made on the similar lines of ABCD – Any Body Can Dance released in 2013 and ABCD – Any Body Can Dance – 2 in 2015. The sequel had Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor in the pivotal role and they are brought back on this film with Nora Fatehi back for the song.
