Day 1 box office collection predictions for Amitabh Bachchan & Tapsee starring “Badla”
Directed by Sujoy Ghosh, the movie Badla includes a brilliant star cast including, Amitabh Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu and Amrita Singh in the lead roles. All set to create goosebumps for the audiences, the film will be hitting the theaters tomorrow on the occasion of Women’s Day, March 8, 2019.
The box office releases and their associated collections have started off on a very good note for the year 2019 giving films such as- Gully Boy, URI: The Surgical Strike and Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi, etc. Setting a high standard for the cash registers, most of these top releases have entered the Rs 100-crore club. This Friday, its turn for Sujoy Ghosh’s thriller film Badla!
Ever since the dropped in trailer of Badla, online, the film has kept to be a hot cake all over the social media. Once again, the lethal combination of Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu is expected to keep the audiences glued to their seats. Talking of the most gripping story-line, Badla is basically the story of Naina Sethi (Taapsee Pannu), blamed for her lover’s murder. While, Amitabh Bachchan plays the role of Badal Gupta (lawyer). Badla is actually a remake of the Spanish film “The Invisible Guest” but, the Bollywood style thrill will definitely add total newness to it. Badla is the first movie marking the first time collaboration of two prime superstars-Shah Rukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan as a producer and actor.
Prior to releasing Badla, Sujoy Ghosh has also worked on a number of hit films including- Kahaani and Kahaani 2.
Coming to the predictions relative to the box office collection for Badla, Girish Johar (Trade Analyst) predicted the intriguing thriller to create a lot of excitement in the public with just its trailer launch. The movie is expected to magnetize a large number of audiences to the movie halls helping gain high profits from the film. The box office prediction for Day 1 as per Girish is expected to be around Rs 3-4 crores for the opening day.
