Comedian Kapil Sharma has apologized to the Kayastha society for the comment made on Lord Chitragupta during an episode in his show ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’. He has tweeted in a tweet that he apologizes on behalf of the entire team for his remarks.

Kapil Sharma tweeted, ‘Dear Kayastha Samaj, on the mention of Shri Chitragupta ji in the episode of’ The Kapil Sharma Show ‘aired on 28 March 2020, if we have hurt your feelings, then on behalf of myself and my team I apologize to you all.

Kapil further wrote, ‘Our motive was not to offend anyone. May all of you be happy, be safe and keep smiling. I wish God the same with love and respect. In his tweet, Kapil has also tagged Kayastha Sabha and former Union Minister Subodh Kant Sahai.

Recall that in the past, a video of Kapil Sharma and Chandan Prabhakar went viral on social media. The video was shared by the show’s judge Archana Puran Singh from her social media account. In this video, Kapil and Chandan were seen dancing.

Let us explain that due to the lockdown, Kapil Sharma is spending all his time at his home. During an Instagram live with Bharti Singh, Kapil said that he does not get bored at home because he spends all his time with his daughter.
