Tejasswi Prakash is in the news these days now and then and recent rumours about her engagement were rife due to his Instagram post. However, it was actually a promotional post which everyone misunderstood. We all know that the actress was often trolled by netizens for being too thin. In a recent interview, she has now opened up about being skinny-shamed during her school days.
She said that she was ‘extremely thin’ in school and when she used to meet people at the school playground, they would pass comments on her. They used to mock her calling her a ‘cloth hanger’. Not just this, they used to tell her, “5 Rupees Ka Coin Apni “Pocket Main Rakha Kar Varna Udd Jayegi Tu.”
Teja spoke about the importance of being comfortable on your skin and said, “ I was extremely skinny. So, during our outdoor play on the ground, people used to mock me saying: Keep a 5 rupee coin in your pocket otherwise you will fly.”
When asked what she does when she gets angry, she said that she cries. Besides this Tejasswi also revealed how she deals with being vulnerable. She said that she calls up the people she loves and shares what she is going through.
Tejasswi Prakash has an advice for everyone
Lastly, the Bigg Boss 15 winner shared a message for everyone who faces body-shaming. She stated: “Listen, guys, your body keeps changing with time and especially of a woman. There are so many changes that occur in our bodies. I was very skinny in school and they called me a hanger. Everyone is different and everything about the person’s body should be considered normal. Whether it is having a tummy or being skinny, everything should be normalised. It’s another human dude, for god’s sake.”
“Always be completely comfortable in your skin,” she said.
