The renowned singer Amjad Sabri is no more as he was shot dead by two unknown gunmen at Liquatabad at the 10 number area of Karachi city. The assistant of the singer was also injured owing to the firing from the said people. He was directly shot at his head with two bullets while one was shot at the neck of the singer. The Pak PM has asked to give an immediate report from the Sindh CM. The Sindh HM has asked to immediately arrest the murderers. The singer was on the way to a private TV channel program wherein he was targeted by the said attackers who came on bike.
The terrorists were seen firing 11 bullets on the vehicle and as per the witnesses the attackers simply fled the crime spot easily after accomplishing their task. Soon the sport was followed by security personnel who rushed them to the hospital but the signer was found dead at the spot only, while his assistants had some minor injuries and later was transferred to the hospital. As per the police, two attackers intercepted the singer’s car and targeted the singer who was driving. All the local ministers and other activists have condemned the attack.
Amjad Sabri was among the finest singers and known for singing Qawwali. His Qawwali – Dama Dam Mast Kalandar has been famous in different countries. In his career span of few decades he has enthralled the music aficionados with his spirituality brand, ecstasy and mysticism for years. He was known for adding the right structure and aesthetics of the Qawwali and was known to make it adaptive for the modern music keeping things alive. He was born on 23rd December 1976 and a man of international repute for having a rich and emotion voice for countless faithful devotee.
