A big day there for the filmmaker Rohit Shetty as he turned 47 today. Thus on the behalf of our readers and patron, we wish the popular director a very happy and prosperous birthday. The director has come a long before turning big in filmmaking. He was first noticed with the Golmaal part one film which was released in 2006 with the title Golmaal: Fun Unlimited. Since then it was no looking back for the director as he kept on getting one hit to the other.
At this age, he turns the first Indian director to start his hit film universe when others would not even think of trying. The filmmaker is known for his films and some of these that have hit the B Town with good buzz include Golmaal series giving three installment getting huge at the box office. The other series that did well for him was the cop action and drama movie starting with Singham and then its sequel followed other two – Simmba and the upcoming Sooryavanshi.
His film with Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone called Chennai Express also did well at the box office. It was the biggest hit in 2013 released on the eve of Eid this year. Rohit has also loved a lot about the small screen when it comes to coming out as a host for the reality shows like Fear Factor. His involvement for the show as a host has shaped the brand for the channel.
