Kapoor And Sons – the modern age film drama from Karan Johar seems to have done a good business at the end of the first week of the film release. The film featuring Fawad Khan, Siddharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt has been liked by the audience giving good moolah at the end of the first week. This film has been the major releases in B Town. Though it has a couple of releases last Friday, however, they were too small budget releases to be realized by anyone giving hardly any heed to the audience base.
In the first week, as per reports, Kapoor and Sons managed to collect around 47 crores, which is actually a decent amount. This has made the film to become the third highest grocer of the year 2016. The Shakun Batra directed movie also having Rajat Kapoor, Ratna Pathak Sha and Rishi Kapoor has therefore seen giving a good week collection. However, with the advent of the film Rocky Handsome this week, the film is likely to hamper its collection. Let’s see how things move in the coming weekend ahead.
