PM Narendra Modi Biopic gets a new release date as it is now POSTPONED

The trouble for the PM Modi Biopic seems to continue as the makers have now been pushed the release date one week later. The opposition party has objected the film for releasing it precisely before the general elections. However, the High Court has to intervene in the matter when it reached to the Bombay High Court bench. The HC directed the Censor Commission to decide the fate of the film.

The other controversy that evoked in the film was by Javed Akhtar the known lyricists and the other lyricist Sameer who condemned the makers for giving credit to their names in the film’s poster when the matter of the fact that they have not given any song or any other stuff for the movie. Now, as per reports, the film will be released on 12th April 2019. The delay in one week has been caused by the CBFC or Central Board of Film Certification. Also, the film was supposed to get the certificate today, but due to all these issues, it got averted.

The film also carries the party song Namo Namo which is rap popular among the workers of the BJP. However, the makers claim that the film is a tribute to the Indian PM for his contribution to the country. It showcases the life and struggle of the leader before the audience. It is produced by Vivek Oberoi’s father Suresh Oberoi, while directed by the Mary Kom fame director Omung Kumar. Now, the film would release on 12th April.
