As time passes, both the B Town and its actors are gradually changing with time. Earlier they were seen only clinging to their genre and we saw the genre of web series only limited to few actors. However, now we see things changing since past two years. A number of names from the web series have been added so far. It would be interesting to check the B Town actors joining the bandwagon of web series. Let’s check the 5 Bollywood Actors all set to make their debut in Web Series as under:
1). Arunoday Singh
The actor was praised heavily his performance in film like Blackmail. He is now busy shooting a web series by Alt Balaji called Apharan. He is playing the character of a cop turned criminal and the other stars in the web series include Nidhi Singh while it is directed by Siddhartha Sengupta.
2). Saif Ali Khan
The Nawab of B Town is also known for doing some of his interesting roles. His performance in Kaalakandi was applauded as it was simply the opposite what he had done before. Now, we see Saif Ali Khan taking a big leap into the digital space wherein he is playing the lead for the Netflix Original Series called Sacred Games,which is directed by Vikramaditya Motwane and is based on a novel by Vikram Chandra.
3). Pankaj Tripathi
The National Award Winner has done a number of movies and each time his performance is appreciated by critics and audience. He gave three back to back movies in three different languages. His recent film is Angrezi Mein Kehte Hain with Sanjay Mishra while his next with South Indian Superstar, Rajnikanth called Kaala is releasing next month. Currently the actor is busy shooting for a web series which is a remake of BBC international Criminal Justice.
4). Kalki Koechlin
The talented actress is completed the shooting for Zoya Akhtar’s film called Gully Boy, which has Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles. Now, she is doing web series called Smoke along with with Neil Bhoopalam, Mandira Bedi and Jim Sarbh. The web series is based on the Goan mafia and politics while Kalki is playing a Portuguese-Goan DJ in it.
5). VIr Das
Another actor is Vir Das who has signed two web series for Netflix and ABC’s crime drama Whiskey Cavaliers.
