Pitchers S2 Review:

Being a sequel, Pitchers S2 raises the expectations of the audience, and I can say that the makers have put their entire effort into justifying the new season. Comedy has been a significant factor that has made most of the audience love this series. Things are now all set to take a serious turn in the second series. So you can expect more drama along with comedy. Dude, it’s not typical drama; it’s Pitchers S2. That means you have several things to entertain you and educate you at the same time. Makes sense? This is how they have improvised!

The only disappointing thing was the absence of Jitendra Kumar. In an entire 5-part series, a small glimpse of the actor was expected. Sadly, he didn’t appear, not even in a cameo role. However, Arunabh Kumar’s script did an outstanding job. As always, it effortlessly connects with viewers and appears very realistic. Lines like “Tu beer hai” have now changed to “Tu whisky hai,” and it’s still satisfying.

A direction can make or break the plot. No matter how exceptional the script is, if it is not executed well, everything goes in vain. Director Vaibhav Bundhoo comprehends this fact very well. Besides location and plot changes, the added star cast has managed to justify the screenplay and narration.

While the entire star cast has done a commendable job, the original soundtrack comes as another plus.

Pitchers S2 Review: Final Verdict

Overall, Pitches S2 is a decent watch, and you shouldn’t miss it. The only thing that disappointed me was “Pitchers without Jeetu.” But the level of excellence with which the series has been made compensates for the loss.
