According to recent sources, the wedding is being kept private since the telecast rights have been sold to an OTT powerhouse.
According to Bollywoodlife, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor’s wedding would be a webcast on an OTT platform in the coming months. Not only that but the couple was paid a substantial sum for selling their wedding rights to an OTT platform. According to reports, the rights were sold for a hefty sum of Rs 90-110 crores.
There has, however, been no formal confirmation of this. The Rockstar actor’s net worth is estimated to be over Rs 330 crores, according to the report. He earns more than Rs 50 crore for every project. Whereas Alia earns between Rs 5-8 crores per film and roughly Rs 1-2 crore from brand endorsements. The couple’s total net worth is estimated to be in the region of Rs. 500 crores.
Notably, last night post-Mehendi function, while confirming the wedding, Neetu Kapoor told the paparazzi, “Mai kya bolu uske baare mein. She (Alia) is the best.” Her daughter Riddhima added, “Bahot cute hai yaar, bahot Sweet, cute, doll jaisi hai (She is very sweet and cute, like a doll).” Later, she confirmed the wedding saying, “haan wedding Kal hai Vastu mai.”
