In Bollywood, you would find a number of women centric movies. Vidya Balan has been on the top in this list; however, another emerging lady in this category comes in the form of Priyanka Chopra. Mary Kom, which is all set to hit the theatres is one such movie. However, when the same movie was referred this movie as the women centric film, she seems to have an objection with this terminology. She doesn’t really like Mary Kom to be called with this tag. She poses her argument wherein she says that any male centric movie isn’t called with a Male Centric Movie when why categorize any female character based movie with this target.
She calls it a gender bias thing to tag women centric movies with such tag. She was posed with similar question at the time of Fashion movie release as well. When quizzed as what does she feels about her movie Mary Kom, she simply boasts it with pride and vigor calling it a damn good film. She has all the reasons to feel proud and happy as Priyanka Chopra has given her blood and soul to perform this character, which is very much visible in the promos and the posters of Mary Kom. With no other movie releasing this Friday, Mary Kom has a strong buzz, which would make it big over the Box Office. Even Priyanka agrees on it!
