The Legend of Maula Jatt has grossed over $10 million worldwide; India release rumoured
The Legend of Maula Jatt, a Pakistani film currently streaming on Netflix, is doing wonders. The largest motion picture in the country meets or exceeds public expectations. Not just this, but it gave an exceptional performance. The film, which was released on October 13, is currently streaming on Netflix.
It includes stars like Fawad Khan and Mahir Khan as leads. with PKR 220 crores ($10 million) across the globe in its 7 weeks of running in theaters. Out of that, PKR 87.50 crores ($3.98 million) were collected from Pakistan itself, and PKR 132.50 crores ($6 million) from global markets.
This film has become the highest-earning film in Pakistani cinema history, both domestically and globally. Before this, Jawani Phir Nahi was the highest-earning movie in Pakistan, but it has been beaten by The Legend of Maula Jatt. It grossed PKR 73 crores globally. Surprisingly, Maula Jatt has tripled the number from the previous one.

The Legend of Maula Jatt is outshining Bollywood masterpieces in global markets
Yes, the film is beating the biggest Bollywood projects in the overseas market. In the UK, it collected £1.39 million to beat the biggest grosser from South Asia, which was Padmaavat in 2018. It also went on to defeat many big projects like Sanju, Race 3, Ponniyin Selvan, Zero, KGF 2, RRR, and so on. It has become the highest-earning film in Norway, defeating Bajrangi Bhaijaan.
It is reported that this film will release in Indian markets on December 23. However, no official announcement has been made.
