Divya Agrawal opens up on coping up after her father’s death and marriage plans with beau Varun Sood
Divya Agrawal is known as someone who wears her heart on sleeves. We all witnessed all shades of her in Bigg Boss OTT. And in her recent interview with Bollywood Bubble, the diva opened up about how she is coping with the loss of her father and marriage plans with beau Varun Sood.
Talking about how is she coping with the loss of her father she shared, “I do have that baggage and that will always be there. That baggage that void will always be there. In fact, after my father passed away, I have done some marvellous things which actually he was waiting for it, ki lockdown kab khatam ho aur meri beti ke projects aayenge. Cartel was coming out and I was working on it for the past two years. I used to come home and discuss it with my dad that today this happened, today it took me 12 hours for prosthetics so he was very excited to see that and when things were out I actually missed him so much.”
She further added, “There is no coping up actually. For me, it was responsibility that made me act in a certain way. When I saw my mother and brother. My mother is a very soft-spoken and a very nice woman, she doesn’t have too many big dreams. Ki bus mera ghar ho aur sab haste rahe, she is a very simple mother. So when I look at her, I just want to give her happiness. So responsibilities actually made me this,” Divya continued, “At times when I sit Alone, I miss him a lot. But I dont want anybody to talk about it that it will be fine, things will move on; it can’t be fine, you cannot move on. So it’s life, you have to keep going.”
She also opened up about the hateful comments people pass on her relationship with Varun, “People keep saying that (let’s see how long it works) and we both keep laughing with a tub of ice cream in our hand on our sofa and watch movies. Varun and I when we sit together and get such questions, it is not like not trolling in the family too. Like cousins of mine they keep taunting let’s see and how and they are not even from the industry. They are like, this industry works like this, it will go for just few years. I keep coming and telling him and we just laugh it off.
She added, “When we don’t even have doubt then how we can even talk about it. What do you need in life? A partner with whom you can have fun. We keep competing with each other in terms of work.”
Talking about the marriage she said, “We thought we should achieve some milestones and we are like a team. We will buy a nice house and so that we are ready so that we don’t have to worry. They also discussed the guest list and she revealed how Varun always ponders about it as she has many friends. She finally said that they have not put a timeline.
