KRK Claims Akshay Kumar’s Flops Resulted in Staggering 600 Crores Loss for Producers; Expresses Shock over Star’s Continued Popularity

Akshay Kumar is one of the highest-paid actors in the film industry. He has been called a “hit machine” for his ability to churn out successful films. However, his luck has seemed to run out in recent years. His last five films, Selfiee, Ram Setu, Raksha Bandhan, Prithviraj, and Bachchhan Paandey, have all been disappointments at the box office.

Selfiee is estimated to have lost ₹100 crore, Ram Setu ₹150 crore, Raksha Bandhan ₹100 crore, Prithviraj ₹150 crore, and Bachchhan Paandey ₹100 crore. This means that the producers of these films have collectively lost a whopping ₹600 crore.

Some people have accused Akshay of choosing bad scripts and not caring about the producers. They say that he only cares about making money. Reports have claimed that he charges as much as ₹100-150 crore for a film.

Self-proclaimed critic KRK recently tweeted about the losses suffered by the producers of Akshay’s films. He wrote, “Producers loss for last 5 films of @akshaykumar ! #Selfie – ₹100Cr loss. #RamSetu – ₹150Cr loss. #Rakshabandan ₹100Cr loss. #Prithviraj – ₹150Cr loss. #BachchanPandey – ₹100Cr loss. Total ₹600Cr loss. But he is still a star. How, I can’t understand.”

Akshay or any of the film producers have not yet responded to KRK’s tweet. Akshay will next be seen in OMG 2, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, Jolly LLB 3, and Hera Pheri 3. It remains to be seen if these films will be able to reverse his recent slump at the box office.
