Shalini Talwar, Honey Singh’s wife, sobs in court during a domestic violence hearing!

Honey Singh, real name Hirdesh Singh, was ordered to appear in court on September 3 by a Delhi court on Saturday, August 28. This is in relation to his wife Shalini Talwar’s domestic violence case, which she filed in court after alleging physical, mental, and emotional abuse.

During the hearing, his wife, Shalini Talwar, sobbed in court. She claimed she had given him ten years and had been by his side, but that he had abandoned her. Tania Singh, the Metropolitan Magistrate, asked Talwar what she wanted from the court. According to news agency ANI, “What stage is the marriage at? Where is the love lost?” the magistrate asked her.

Singh also stated that resolving the issue would be preferable.

Due to his poor health earlier in the day, the rapper was unable to appear in court. Metropolitan Magistrate Tania Singh said, “None of is above law. It is very surprising to see this case is taken very lightly.”

Meanwhile, Honey Singh’s lawyer, Ishaan Mukherjee, responded to Talwar’s complaint under the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act. ANI reported, Honey Singh’s counsel “told the court that Singh’s wife has already taken away all the valuables. He also assured the court that they are ready to accommodate her and they will build a wall and flat that can be provided to her in 15 days. Singh’s counsel apprised the court about Honey Singh’s two properties costing four crores out of which property one property has joint ownership of Shalini and Honey Singh.”

Shalini Talwar, his wife, filed a domestic violence complaint against him. She said she was the victim of sexual assault, mental harassment, infidelity, and financial fraud. The charges were dismissed by Honey Singh, who called them untrue and spiteful.
